The show is articulated around the practice of Ibrahim Mahama both as an artist and creator of several artist run spaces and residencies with his installations created from found materials, archives, and fragments of industrial heritage. Continuing his collaborative practice, Ibrahim Mahama is inviting nine artists to participate in the exhibition. The artists are Dorothy Akpene Amenuke, Gideon Appah, James Barnor, CATPC, Courage Dzidula Kpodo with Postbox Ghana, Tjaša Rener and Feda Wardak
For this exhibition, Zohra Opoku will be showing 4 new large commission works from the new series, Give me back my black dolls and historical works from the last 10years.
